VinFast has reportedly paused deeper localisation work for the VF 3, VF 6 and VF 7 in India while it reassesses development costs and product strategy. The move does not stop production: VF 6 and VF 7 will keep being assembled in Tamil Nadu from imported CKD kits, and suppliers have been asked to temporarily halt localisation development.
