Verizon customers in parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma reported service disruptions Thursday afternoon, with reports beginning around 2:40 p.m. Outages tracking data pointed to issues with phone and internet service, and some devices switching to SOS mode. Verizon said it was aware of a wireless service interruption affecting some customers, apologized, and said engineers are working to restore service.
