Veolia Sues Nine Companies Over PFAS Contamination in Delaware

Veolia Water Delaware Inc. filed a Delaware Superior Court lawsuit seeking more than $35 million from nine firms accused of releasing PFAS that contaminated drinking-water sources for northern Delaware. The complaint links alleged contamination to products manufactured, used, or disposed by companies including Ametek, Syensqo, Solvay Solexis and FMC, and cites costly upgrades to the Stanton Water Treatment Plant that serves about 100,000 people.
