Vale expands Conceição II automation and AI to iron ore plants in Brazil
After commissioning an advanced iron ore processing plant in Itabira, Vale is scaling its automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalization from the Conceição II Model Plant to other operations across Brazil. The update uses thousands of sensors and AI to monitor and optimize processing in real time, aiming to improve safety, operational performance, and production quality while supporting Mining of the Future goals.
