VA Raises Oracle Health EHR Contract Ceiling to Nearly £19.8 Billion
The US Department of Veterans Affairs increased the ceiling on its electronic health record modernisation contract with Oracle Health from about £7.3 billion to nearly £19.8 billion. The VA says unanticipated deployment complexities and an accelerated rollout used capacity faster, enabling more deployment, testing, training, infrastructure, support and sustainment. Around 14 medical centres are already live, with full rollout still underway, making the increase a major commercial win for Oracle.
