VA Raises Oracle Health EHR Contract Cap by About $17 Billion

The Department of Veterans Affairs boosted the maximum for Oracle Health’s electronic health record contract by roughly $17 billion, lifting it to about $27 billion. Oracle won’t immediately realize that amount, but the larger ceiling adds flexibility as rollouts expand. Only 14 of 164 medical centers are live, with options that could extend the program through May 2031.
