The U.S. Senate has opened an investigation into Roblox over concerns about child safety. The company faces accusations that the platform enables grooming, sexual abuse, kidnapping, rape, and murder, including trafficking of child sexual abuse material and extortion or bribery to produce explicit content. Roblox reported 65,381 suspected child exploitation cases in 2025, more than double 2024, and has been directed to preserve relevant records.
