U.S. Probes Apex Logistics Over Alleged Nvidia Chip Smuggling to China
U.S. Commerce’s BIS is examining 47 Apex Logistics shipments from 2024 for alleged Nvidia chip smuggling to China, sources said, after former employees left soon after Apex was told of the probe. Apex’s Swiss parent says it is cooperating, while Kuehne+Nagel says it was not contacted. Investigators are looking at Nvidia-equipped servers routed via Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, including consignments coded as export-control exempt.
