US FDA approves J&J’s Imaavy for warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia
The US FDA cleared Johnson & Johnson’s Imaavy as the first treatment for warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA), for patients aged 12 and older with current or prior steroid treatment. The IV infusion every four weeks lowers harmful antibodies while preserving other immune functions, with common side effects including swelling, diarrhea, and fever.
