US DOJ Seeks More Info on Fox Roku Deal in Second Request
The US Department of Justice has expanded its antitrust inquiry into Fox’s planned $160-per-share purchase of Roku, according to Semafor. DOJ is expected to issue a second request for additional data and documents from the companies, months after Fox announced a cash-and-stock deal combining Fox broadcast and sports with Roku’s streaming reach. Roku shares fell about 2% in extended trading.
