U.S. bill could tighten ASML China DUV sales and servicing ban
Washington’s chip export limits could extend deeper into ASML’s remaining DUV business in China. China accounted for 14% of net system sales by shipment location in Q2 2026, down from 19% in Q1, with most sales tied to older DUV equipment. A U.S. House bill introduced April 2 would close gaps and align controls with allies, with the Netherlands potentially facing sanctions, as China targets about five DUV systems in 2026 and 20 in 2027.
