U.S. awards Raytheon $22.9B seven-year deal to scale Tomahawk output
Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao said the U.S. has awarded Raytheon a landmark seven-year Tomahawk contract worth $22.9 billion. The deal would raise annual Tomahawk production to more than 1,000 missiles from about 60 today, expanding sea-launched long-range precision-strike capacity from ships and submarines. Raytheon said the multi-year arrangement supports major investment in capacity.
