Uno Minda plans to invest INR 550 crore in its Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility in Maharashtra to produce electric four-wheeler powertrain systems. The plant will focus on high-voltage electric powertrain products and dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) systems. The project will be funded through a debt and equity mix, with commissioning expected by Q2 of FY28 and capex spread over the next two years.
