Universal Music Group Invests in Stability AI’s $76M Series B
Stability AI raised $76 million in a Series B round with investors including Universal Music Group, along with Warner Music Group, Sony Music Group and Electronic Arts. The funding follows deals to build new AI models using each label’s catalogues and IP. The round is led under CEO Prem Akkaraju, who joined in 2024, as the company expanded licensed-data audio tools.
