UnitedHealth Group will invest $4 million via the United Health Foundation to grow its University of Tennessee Health Sciences health hub network from 5 sites to 13 statewide by end-2027, targeting 200,000 Tennessee residents. The move follows weak 2025 claims costs that drove the medical care ratio to 88.9%, but it has eased to 86.7% and the company raised 2025 adjusted EPS guidance to $19.50–$20.
