Uniper Signs Contracts for Next Phase of NorthStarH2 E-Methanol Project

Uniper has signed contracts with AFRY, Carbon Clean, Siemens Energy and Topsoe to start the next development phase of NorthStarH2, a planned e-methanol production facility in Östersund. The basic engineering work is set to last about one year and is intended to help decarbonize transport and the chemical industry. The contracts total more than SEK 100 million.
