Uniper named SLB Capturi the preferred technology licensor for the proposed Connah’s Quay Low Carbon Power project in Deeside, UK. Chosen after a competitive FEED process starting in Dec 2024, the project would use the Big Catch™ amine-based capture system across a facility targeting up to 1.38 GW. A final investment decision is still needed, but it could be SLB Capturi’s first megascale gas-power deployment.
