Energy firm Uniper will continue developing its 2.6 million tonnes per year ammonia-to-hydrogen import facility in Germany after securing sufficient capacity expressions of interest from offtakers. The Wilhelmshaven terminal will use preliminary commercial agreements and transit rules, taking up to 2.6 million tonnes of ammonia to produce about 350,000 tonnes of hydrogen for Germany’s hydrogen network.
