Unilever and McCormick market Colman’s mustard for sale ahead of food deal
Ahead of a planned combination of most Unilever food business with McCormick, Colman’s brand and assets are being marketed to potential buyers to proactively address competition concerns. The March deal values Unilever food assets at about $44.8bn, with Unilever and investors receiving $15.7bn cash plus McCormick shares. Unilever shareholders are expected to hold 55.1% of the enlarged group.
