Unifor to Start Collective Bargaining With Stellantis at Windsor

Unifor’s 6,000-plus members at Stellantis Windsor Assembly are set to begin collective bargaining on Tuesday. The union recently ratified a General Motors deal covering wage increases, a $10,000 productivity bonus, and a cost-of-living allowance. For Stellantis, it seeks future production allocations for Windsor and the idled Brampton plant, where about 2,200 workers are laid off and Stellantis is considering selling, amid tariff pressure including threats of 50% U.S. tariffs.
