UBTECH Humanoid Robot Business Surges as China Issues Overseas Auto Guidelines
China has issued guidelines for automakers competing overseas, covering pricing, dealer networks, localization, after-sales, employment, cross-border data, IP, antitrust, and environmental standards, with an emphasis on cost- and demand-based pricing rather than aggressive cuts. Leapmotor reported August global deliveries of 103,129, up 80.7% year over year. UBTECH meanwhile posted RMB 1.27 billion revenue in the first half of 2026, with full-size humanoid robots driving RMB 590 million, up 1,445% year over year.
