Uber and Pony.ai plan to deploy 2,000 of Pony.ai’s self-driving taxis across Europe and expand the robotaxi partnership to the Middle East. They launched a commercial robotaxi service in Zagreb, Croatia in late March and say a large fleet supports safety demonstrations to regulators and better operations.
