Uber says it has partnered with drone delivery startup Zipline, with near-term rollout in select cities and potential deliveries from the sky or gentle doorstep drops in places like San Francisco. The company also launched a medical delivery service supplying more than 5,000 hospitals. Uber and Zipline aim for one million drone deliveries per day by end-2029, with test markets not yet disclosed.
