Uber Technologies and Pony AI expanded their strategic partnership to plan deployment of more than 2,000 Level 4 robotaxis across Europe, adding four cities beyond the upcoming Zagreb service on Uber’s platform and rolling out in phases. The agreement also covers planned Middle East deployments and a joint-deployment model spanning technology, platform access and daily fleet management, with local operator Verne owning and running the Zagreb fleet.
