Tyson Foods is auctioning more than 600 items from its former Tyson Fresh Meats plant in Emporia, Kansas, with bidding on BidSpotter running from September 4 to September 15. The plant has been closed for over a year and work was consolidated into Tyson’s Finney County plant. Tyson also announced further closures, including a reported $142 million operating loss in its beef segment while chicken and prepared foods posted operating income.
