Twitch Adds Opt-Out for Amazon Training AI on Users’ Streams

Twitch says users can now stop Amazon from training generative AI on their livestreams, clips, images, chats and other channel content by disabling a default setting. The change follows backlash after Twitch confirmed Amazon uses platform content for AI training. Twitch also says opting out is respected and collected data will not be re-sold, while executives acknowledged uncertainty about whether data was already scraped.
