TVS two-wheeler sales rise 21% in August; HMSI grows 8%

TVS reported 21% growth in total two-wheeler registrations to 591,437 units in August 2026, driven by 18% domestic growth and 29% export growth. The Tamil Nadu-based firm became the largest two-wheeler maker by total volume in June 2026 and December 2025. Japanese two-wheeler giant HMSI recorded 5.79 lakh sales in August 2026, up 8% year on year.
