Tüpraş Orders Four Suezmax Tankers for $370M Fleet Expansion
Tüpraş plans to invest more than $370 million to build four new Suezmax crude oil tankers, delivered by end-2029, to expand its maritime transportation capacity. The vessels, built in South Korea, each carry about 157,000 DWT and support the company’s Energy for the Future strategy. Alongside existing tanker operations, Tüpraş also expects a new methanol-fuel-ready chemical tanker to join its fleet in Q3.
