TSMC Reportedly Holds Apple A20 Pro SoCs Pending DRAM, Risking iPhone 18 Delay
Reports say TSMC has about $1 billion worth of Apple A20 Pro SoCs but cannot move to the next production step without adequate DRAM supply. That shortage could force Apple to scramble for DRAM and may delay iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. TSMC is also reportedly on track for 100,000 monthly 2nm wafers by late 2026, with packaging work at Fab 3 in Longtan.
