TSMC Plans Advanced Packaging Hub in Kaohsiung Industrial Park

TSMC will work with Taiwan’s Community of Economic Affairs and the Kaohsiung City Government to build an advanced packaging hub in the Baipu Industrial Park, including a planned 3-hectare site with modular assets for testing and R&D of packaging technologies. The plan also calls for a training center and supports growing CoWoS packaging capacity at over 80% annual growth through 2027.
