TSMC expands water reuse plans at Phoenix campus to address community concerns

TSMC currently recycles 65% of its water intake—about 3.5 million gallons a day—and expects a new reclamation plant to treat water that can’t be recycled. The city of Phoenix permits the site under a strict industrial pretreatment discharge permit, and TSMC says reuse could reach 90% or better while aiming to be a “good neighbor.”
