Trump Says Exxon Will Enter Venezuela as US Pushes Oil Deals
Exxon declined to comment as U.S. President Donald Trump said the company is among those planning to do business in Venezuela. The potential return would reverse the firm’s exit nearly two decades after Venezuela nationalized its assets. Exxon sent a technical team in March to study opportunities after Trump criticized its earlier view that the country was uninvestable, and said the U.S. was rerouting oil toward Texas and Louisiana.
