Trimble Acquires Terasat Japan to Expand Centimeter-Level VRS Corrections

Trimble will acquire Terasat Japan, expanding its VRS network in Japan to deliver centimeter-level GNSS correction services for geospatial, construction, automotive and agriculture industries. Terasat Japan’s VRS uses GNSS data from Japan’s GSI CORS network of more than 1,300 stations, providing access to mandated GSI data streams for surveying and construction.
