Toyota Joins cellcentric as Equal Partner and Shareholder in Binding Deal

The Volvo Group, Daimler Truck AG, cellcentric and Toyota Motor have signed a binding agreement for Toyota to join cellcentric as an equal partner and shareholder, with each owner taking one third. The deal is meant to strengthen cellcentric’s position as a developer and manufacturer of fuel cell systems for heavy-duty commercial use, with completion targeted for year end 2026 or early 2027 subject to regulatory approvals.
