Toyota Global Sales Decline 5.2% in July on Overseas Weakness

Toyota Motor reported a 5.2% year-on-year drop in global sales to 912,683 units in July 2026, including Lexus and Daihatsu, as overseas deliveries fell 8.1% to 718,898 while Japan sales rose 6.6% to 193,785. Management cited the Middle East conflict affecting deliveries and intensifying global competition. In the first seven months, global sales fell 2.6%.
