Toyota Expands Recall of Vehicles With Potential Fuel-Pump Stalling Issue
Toyota expanded a recall covering 3.34 million US vehicles for a potential stalling issue in 2020, and later broadened it again in January 2025 and April 2026 for additional Toyota and Lexus models. More than 5.8 million vehicles have been recalled globally since the problem surfaced. Denso alerted NHTSA after finding a fuel-pump defect, and owners sued in 2020.
