TotalEnergies says it has completed its December 2025 transaction with Galp, acquiring a 40% operated interest in Namibia’s PEL83 license, which includes the Mopane discovery. TotalEnergies now holds operated interests in PEL56, PEL83 and PEL91, and is progressing entry as operator into PEL104, while seeking local opportunities for low carbon projects.
