TotalEnergies will acquire a 35% stake from the new shareholder Plastic Energy to take sole ownership of the Grandpuits advanced plastics recycling plant in Seine-et-Marne. The facility began production in March 2026 and can process 15,000 tons of plastic waste annually, converting hard-to-recycle household waste into synthetic oil via pyrolysis and producing circular feedstock.
