Topps Tiles confirms closure of Cheam store in wider UK retail downsizing

British Heart Foundation says it will wind down retail operations at about 150 of its roughly 640 UK branches, with 90 sites expected to close by March 2027 and the remainder by March 2028, though final trading dates are still pending. Topps Tiles chief executive Alex Jensen confirmed the Cheam store is among 23 branches set to shut, citing subdued consumer demand, geopolitical uncertainty and cost inflation.
