From 1 September 2026, Tom Cavanaugh will lead Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine division, succeeding EVP Jennifer Taubert after her retirement. Cavanaugh moves from chairing North American Innovative Medicine, bringing nearly three decades in biopharma. Taubert shaped acquisitions and global commercial strategy over more than 20 years, and the division is on track toward the company’s 2026 US$100bn revenue goal.
