Apple CEO Tim Cook joined government officials, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, to open a new Houston manufacturing facility offering free training and business education. The site will later build Mac Mini desktop computers and has already shipped advanced AI servers. Apple said it spent hundreds of millions on the facility, sourced chips from the U.S. and abroad, and Cook will become executive chairman Sept. 1 with John Ternus as CEO.
