Thales and Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement on Sept. 3, 2026 to pursue indigenous production of 70-mm rocket systems in India, aiming for the first fully assembled rocket in early 2027. The pact strengthens Thales’ multi-domain sovereign-security position and ties its defence customer reach to its Noida cyber and digital engineering centre.
