Thales and Bharat Forge subsidiary sign alliance on 70-mm rocket systems

Global defence firm Thales and a Bharat Forge subsidiary, KSSL, signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement to explore collaboration on unguided and laser-guided variants of Thales’ combat-proven 70-mm rocket systems. Thales will contribute expertise in 2.75-inch/70-mm rockets and launchers developed in Belgium, while KSSL will use local manufacturing and testing to produce and integrate components from Thales’ qualified supply chain to support Indian armed forces’ operational readiness.
