Texas Instruments to Supply U.S.-Made Chips for GE Appliances Laundry Plant
GE Appliances said TI will supply one-third of the chips for products made at its new laundry plant, with production starting in 2027. The components will power embedded processing, wireless connectivity, motor control and power management, including TI motor drivers for more reliable drain pump control. GE also plans to explore TI’s microcontroller platform with NPU-based AI, as part of expanding its U.S. chip supply chain.
