RBC executives said they want to expand City National Bank’s presence in the Southeast and add City National bankers in Texas. RBC CEO Dave McKay said the company would consider acquisitions to boost City National’s scale but emphasized organic growth opportunities. RBC reported a 13.5% Q3 2026 CET1 ratio, CAD $1.6 billion in share repurchases, CAD $6 billion net income, and City National ROE rising to 12.1%.
