Teva’s Anti-Interleukin-15 Antibody Shows Benefit in Celiac Study
Teva’s investigational anti-interleukin-15 antibody TEV ’408 met the primary endpoint in a Phase IIa celiac disease trial, improving the villus height–to–crypt depth ratio (Vh:Cd). After eight weeks, it reduced the Vh:Cd decline by 0.45 versus placebo and showed no safety signals to date. Patients then began a six-week gluten challenge after receiving a single dose. The program is also being evaluated in vitiligo.
