Teva Bids to Buy BioXcel Neuroscience Assets in Up to $125m Deal
Teva Pharmaceuticals has offered up to $125m to acquire neuroscience assets from BioXcel Therapeutics in a court-supervised Chapter 11 auction. Teva is the stalking horse bidder, with $57.5m upfront plus up to $67.5m tied to FDA approval timing and sales milestones. If it loses, Teva would receive a break-up fee and expense reimbursement, alongside $19m debtor-in-possession financing to support the process.
