Tetra Tech Subsidiary Settles False Claims Act Radiation Data Allegations
Tetra Tech EC Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, paid $57 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations that it fabricated work and falsified radiation data used by the U.S. Navy to assess whether the former Hunters Point Naval Shipyard was free of harmful radiation. The Justice Department said the claims are allegations only and liability was not determined, while the shipyard cleanup is described as a decades-long priority for the community and federal government.
