Tesla has lost senior AI hardware talent again as Shishuang Sun, a former Dojo and Autopilot AI hardware architect, moved to DensityAI as Packaging and System Hardware starting in July. Sun previously left Tesla, then returned in 2021 and was promoted to Senior Director in April 2025, with work spanning chip packaging, power integrity and thermal/mechanical system engineering.
