Tesla began offering limited rides in Austin, Texas, using its two-seater Cybercab that has no steering wheel or pedals. The US auto safety agency said it is evaluating the matter. Tesla is also running a limited robotaxi ride-hailing service using autonomous Model Ys and has updated its robotaxi site to restrict Cybercab availability to parts of Austin.
